Asthma is a chronic inflammatory condition of the airways and one of the most prevalent chronic conditions in Canada.
We offer a variety of services free of charge to help, including
- General Asthma Brochure (pdf)
- Information resources on asthma
- Education and professional development seminars. A variety of topics presented throughout the year in British Columbia communities. Speakers use discussion, audio-visual aids and handouts that address asthma triggers, warning signs, medication, treatment, and action plans. Whether you are a parent of a child with asthma, have asthma yourself, or are a professional who is a caregiver, you can attend a session that meets your needs.
