Donate to Lung Patient Support

None of us are immune to feelings of fear and anxiety during these unprecedented times. British Columbians affected by chronic lung conditions are among those most vulnerable to acute illness from respiratory infections, including COVID-19.  Help us provide virtual care services to support our most vulnerable.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION PACK Through delivery of our Essential Info Packs, we help patients stay safe. Inside are tips on how to maintain respiratory, physical and mental health as well as how to prepare should one get sick, and how to access online and phone support. These kits also contain a washable face mask, infection prevention signage, and a stay-at-home workout routine with accompanying resistance bands. ONLINE SUPPORT Through the BC Lung Association's Online Communities, patients engage directly with respiratory health experts. We’re expanding our respiratory health response team and increasing online resources to help patients manage stress, control symptoms, and stay active while continuing to share coping tips and be a source of comfort and encouragement to one another. Learn how to join an Online Community.

PHONE SUPPORT The BC Lung Association is working to establish a Phone Pal Program that will connect lung patients with others facing similar lung health challenges. The primary goal of this program is to match individuals who have similar interests and are prepared to share coping tips and give encouragement. Maintaining social connections is vital. If you would like to volunteer for this program, email
