Note: At present, BC Lung, with the support of health experts who design and deliver pulmonary rehabilitation programs across BC, is expanding upon the content found here, so please come back again!

Important: If you are living with a lung condition it is important to get your doctor's approval before your start a new exercise regime. Talk to your doctor about the type of exercise program that would be best for you and how to use your medications before, during and after exercise. Your doctor may also suggest strategies to help you get started, such as using a walker or referring you to a pulmonary rehabilitation program.
